We bought a 4-1/2 qt back in July 2009 and have been quite happy since its high vertical dimension is very space-efficient in the fridge. We use it to store our weekend soup leftover and nothing else, while taking care not to pour boiling liquid into it and hand wash it every time. The lid seals quite well and is able to keep out any fridge smell in our soup, but it is certainly not water tight in our experience---if you tip the container any liquid inside will sip out very slowly.
Zoom to two weeks ago, a crack started to develop at the dead center of the base, now rendering this container solid-only. We still like it so much that I am writing this while coming back to buy its replacement. But I have to take one star off for the durability.
